In the Spring of 2001, NIACC
purchased a RedMan suit for
Rape Education and Self-
defense class.   This suit
along with its current
components has cost
approximately $1,400.  I andmy
students feel, considering
the current budget crisis that
community colleges in Iowa
have had to endure, that we
are very fortunate to have
this equipment.

He doesn't get the point.  This is what he gets.
The RedMan suit absorbs a great deal of the shock
that students deliver.  However, every now and then,
a student sends a kick or strike home that rattles me.
