To the Editor:

Ever thought of playing college softball?

Well, as of right now, there are only nine women on the NIACC softball team.

Softball is not hard at all, you just have to want to play and like playing it.

The NIACC softball team has only enough women to play a game and cannot afford for anyone to get hurt.

We could really use some help from any other women who want to play.

Students who have played softball in high school should know that the NIACC softball team is looking for experienced players.

Playing softball at the collegiate level is not hard. All you have to know is how to throw, catch and hit the ball.

The team would be grateful of anyone who wants to join our team due to the lack of participation right now.

Softball is a good sport and also a lot of fun.

Besides being fun, being involved in softball helps students academically.

Involvement helps to keep your grades up and keeps you out of trouble because if you fail or get in trouble, you can’t play.

If you are interested in being a part of the softball team, you should talk to one of the softball players to get a feel for what it’s like.

You could also contact the Athletic Department located in the Activity Center.

They can be reached by calling 641-422-4344, and would be helpful in lining you up to play with us.
