Comedian Mary Mack performed in the Activity Center on Wednesday, October 13 over the noon hour.

The self-described folk humorist has appeared on the Bob and Tom Radio Show, XM’s National Lampoon’s Comedy Network, Comedy Central’s Live At Gotham and NBC’s Last Comic Standing.

Mack, who initially approached the stage with a brief announcement, started her standup comedy routine from there.

Although the lunch crowd took a few moments to warm up to Mack, once they did it was all laughs.

Her comedy routine involves a dry, sarcastic approach that takes the little simple flaws in life and turns it into something hilarious.

Her routine involved audience participation. It was a new experience for those in the audience who got a taste of Mack’s sense of humor that has appeared on a national stage.
