Trip dates for the 2010-2011 ski/snowboard season will be added to the web site in September or October 2010. Sign up for our free e-mail newsletter to get regular announcements about club trips, meetings and events.


Spring Break Trip - Winter Park, Colorado
March 13-19, 2010
 

Day Trips

We leave on each of the day-trip dates at 7:00 AM from in front of the NIACC Gymnasium (unless otherwise indicated) and will be home around 7:00-8:00 PM.
Sign up and pay for lift tickets in advance in the NIACC Business Office, or call and pay by credit card - 641-422-4156. Pay for ski/snowboard rentals at the resort.

Take a lesson - you'll be glad that you did. A professional ski or snowboard instructor can help you have a much more enjoyable experience! (Mount Kato and Afton Alps have free lessons for first-time skiers and snowboarders.)

Your Responsibility Code

  • Always stay in control, and be able to stop or avoid other people or objects.
  • People ahead of you have the right of way. It is your responsibility to avoid them.
  • You must not stop where you obstruct a trail, or are not visible from above.
  • Whenever starting downhill or merging into a trail, look uphill and yield to others.
  • Always use devices to help prevent runaway equipment.
  • Observe all posted signs and warnings. Keep off closed trails and out of closed areas.
  • Prior to using any lift, you must have the knowledge and ability to load, ride and unload safely.
